FAQ

Both in-person and online sessions are $235 for 50-minute sessions
Sliding scale is available, please inquire.

I work with individuals across the lifespan—supporting children, youth, adults, and seniors—and I serve diverse communities, including various cultural, ethnic, and religious groups. My approach is culturally sensitive and tailored to the unique needs of each person I support.
-
When working with children and adolescents, I require a completed consent form before beginning services. For families in which parents are married or in an intact relationship, consent from one parent is generally sufficient. For parents who are separated or divorced, consent from both legal guardians is required to ensure alignment with Alberta legislation and the professional standards set by the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) and the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta (PAA).
For children and youth, the first session is typically held with the parent or guardian to gather background information and collaboratively identify goals. Subsequent sessions are held individually with the child or youth, unless otherwise clinically indicated. For older adolescents, those approximately 16 years and older may be assessed to determine if they meet criteria for “mature minor” status under Alberta’s mature minor doctrine. If a youth is assessed as a mature minor—meaning they demonstrate the capacity to understand and make informed decisions about their care—a first session with a parent may not be required. This determination is made on a case-by-case basis in accordance with CAP standards and provincial guidelines.

While I don’t offer direct billing, I’ll provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider. Most plans cover services from Registered Provisional Psychologists, but it’s a good idea to double-check your coverage just to be sure.
-
I accept credit card and e-transfer.
-
Please note I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Missed appointments or cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged the full fee to the credit card on file.
If needed, you can always switch to a virtual session within that time frame.
Reach out via text or email to schedule your complimentary 15-minute consultation or to book a therapy session. Please include your name, phone number, and a brief message. I respond to messages during business hours, typically within 1–3 business days.
